We all know Kiwis love a good Roast. So Comedy Central is bringing one right to your living room. Filmed live at the Mercury Theatre in Auckland, this is New Zealand’s very first Roasting of the man everyone loves to talk about: Mr Mike King!
Featuring some of New Zealand's crudest comedians, Comedy Central is serving up all the crackling you could ask for! But don’t worry, Mike is prepared.
“Although as The King, I expect to be Royally Roasted, my comedy compadres better bring their A game, cos I’ll be roasting them right back, Maori style. It should be one hell of a hangi!”
Be prepared for an evening full of outlandish insults, “I can’t believe he just said that” moments and general bad behaviour, as fellow comedians and friends take to the stage to intimate stories on the legendary Mike King. This is Kiwi Comedy like you’ve never seen before!
