‘Shaun of the Dead’ creators Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright are teaming up again to write the third film in their so-called ‘Cornetto’ trilogy!

According to Deadline, the boys will commence work on their new flick 'The World's End' in September, and aim to release it in 2013. Wright recently tweeted a picture of him and Pegg standing before a sandwich board of the film’s title with the caption "hard at work."

And the plot sounds like a goodie...

Twenty years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. The journey finishes at the fabled pub, The World’s End.

It's been over eight years since the pair - who had previously worked together on ‘Spaced’ - gave the world the hilarious zombie apocalypse film ‘Shaun of the Dead.’ They went on to team up again a few years later in the buddy cop comedy ‘Hot Fuzz.’ Nick Frost, who co-starred with Pegg in both films, is also set to feature in 'The World's End'.

Simon Pegg has gone on to star in some big budget Hollywood films including ‘Star Trek’ and the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise, while Edgar Wright directed the comic adaption of ‘Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.’
