After the runaway success of the Australian television series ‘Kath and Kim,’ it was only a matter of time before the ladies left Fountain Lakes and crossed to the big screen, which they’ve done in a spectacular fashion.
‘Kath and Kimderella’ premiered in Sydney this week and we were lucky enough to catch up with Sharon and the Day-Knight family to get some all important styling tips.
Kath, looking resplendent in white, told us of her outfit,
“I’m wearing Keith Urban for Bella Hamilton…I’m into fashion designing now like all celebrities…this outfit is satin alligator skin, it’s beautiful”
She also pressed the importance of dressing for the occasion.
“I team a theme everywhere I go..I went to ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ and I wore a cape and I wore a batwing sleeve.”
Sharon’s biggest fashion accessory of the night was what appeared to be a large hickey on her neck.
“I woke up on Cronulla beach this morning with that!” she said.
But Kath wasn’t solely concerned with sartorial elegance on the night - she also let us in on what to expect from the film!
“It’s got intrigue and it’s got messages galore…really pertinent messages about the environment.”
The film premieres in New Zealand on September 6. Check out more from Kel, Sharon and Kath in the video below!
