With the writers still having “nothing specific” in mind for the character’s exit from the comedy, Carell finds himself in a quandary.
“I'm sort of torn”’ he told Entertainment Weekly . “Part of me wants him to end up happy, but another, more realistic side of me knows that the show is essentially a documentary. It’s not a fairytale.
“So I think it would be interesting if it's a qualified happiness, if he does find happiness [at all]. ”
In other ‘Office’ news, the series could be getting a musical with a ‘Glee’ episode reportedly on the cards!
Entertainment Weekly reports that the Glee-centric episode will centre on the Dunder Miflin workers getting together to watch the successful teen musical series.
However it doesn’t look like Sue Sylvester or Mr Schuester will be making an appearance though as a source confirmed that no ‘Glee’ actors will actually appear in the episode. We can but hope though!
Maybe Michael will ‘slushie’ Dwight at least…
