On April 29, 1990 iconic kiwi comedian Billy T James took to the stage for the first time since undergoing a heart transplant and gave the performance of his career in 'Billy T James: Alive & Gigging'.
From the opening number featuring lycra-clad dancers in surgical masks and a back flipping Billy look-a-like, to his musical numbers and fantastic gags, Billy pokes fun at himself and the world around him, and you get to go along for the ride.
Featuring a special guest appearance by Sir Howard Morrison as well as many famous faces from New Zealand's entertainment scene, the show is as funny and relevant today as it was 20 years ago.
