First he swapped his usual comedic side-kick persona for a crime green fighting superhero, and now Seth Rogan, is set to try his hand as ‘virtual leading man’ in Dreamworks' latest animated comedy.

According to intellectual titan the Hollywood Reporter, the Knocked Up star will voice the lead character in Boo U, a 3D movie about a ghost who is sent back to spook school in order to become better at scaring people.

He must have not got the A level results he was hoping for today.

Boo U will be Rogen's third animated film with DreamWorks, having previously lent his gravelly vocal chords to the underrated Kung Fu Panda and the boring Monsters Vs. Aliens.

Rogen's career is going from strength to strength at the moment, as he is due to join the likes of Robert Downey Jr and Christian Bale by playing a superhero.

He will be next seen playing the lead in The Green Hornet in January, followed by reprising his role in the Kung Fu Panda sequel The Kaboom Of Doom, set to open next summer.
