Despite Charlie Sheen’s less than stellar public record, the ‘Two and A Half Men’ actor, along with co-star Jon Cryer, has topped a list of the highest paid television actors in the U.S.

TV Guide revealed that Charlie Sheen is once again on top of the pile after his new two year deal with ‘Two and a Half Men’ sees him earn a staggering $US1.25 million per episode!

His on-screen brother Jon Cryer scored second place with a respectable (if only half of Sheen’s salary) $550,000 per episode.

Earlier this year it was also announced that ‘the half’ in ‘Two and A Half Men’ , Angus T. Jones was the highest paid child actor in the States too netting $200,000 an episode.

’House ‘star Hugh Laurie reportedly earns $US400,000 an episode making him the highest paid actor in a drama.

Other big earners in the list were ‘30 Rock's’ Tina Fey who pockets $US350,000 per episode and ‘The Office's’ Steve Carell nets $US297,000 a pop.
