Despite saying he wants to quit the show when his contract expires, Alec Baldwin has said that ‘30 Rock’ is ‘the best experience I’ve probably ever had in the business.’

In an interview with Scotland on Sunday, the actor said: “I walk down the street and people tell me how much they love the show.”

‘Not that I need to wake up and have every bird in the trees and every horse along the bridle path wink at me and say, ‘Oh, Alec, I loved 30 Rock last night!’ But it’s nice.’

As the GE exec Jack Donaghy, Baldwin has won three Golden Globes, three Screen Actors Guild awards. He’s also won two Emmys and is hoping to make it three years running at this month’s Primetime Emmy Awards.

The fifth season of the critically acclaimed sitcom returns this autumn in the States with the exciting announcement that there will be a live episode a few weeks into the new run!
