‘30 Rock’ actress Tiny Fey will be awarded the Mark Twain Prize for American Humour on November 9, according to the Associated Press.

The celebration will also honour ‘Saturday Night Live’ regulars and Betty White, as well as Steve Martin, Jennifer Hudson and John Hamm who will also be on hand to congratulate the comedian at the Kennedy Centre for Performing Arts in Washington.

First famed as the first female head writer of ‘SNL’, Fey became renowned for her uncanny impression of the infamous former Republican vice-president Sarah Palin. Also featuring in the award winning comedy ‘30 Rock’, Tina has since gone on to establish herself with some serious movie cred, writing and featuring in ‘Mean Girls’, taking the lead role in ‘Baby Momma’ and alongside Steve Carrell in ‘Date Night’. The writer-slash-actress will be the youngest person ever to receive the award.

The Mark Twain Prize for American Humour, which has also honoured Bill Crosby, Neil Simon and Whoopi Goldberg, recognises those who have made a significant impact on American society – it was established in 1998.
