Over the last year, Charlie Sheen’s downward spiraling career, public rants and floundering love life have scored him his fare share of headlines…

Now, the Warlock is back dominating the media – but this time, it’s for all the right reasons, (and no we’re not talking about his post-meltdown indie production ‘A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charlie Swan III’)… The much-anticipated Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen went down on Saturday night, and by all accounts, the panel of funny men (and woman) didn’t hold back!

Charlie, who was once TV's highest paid actor on ‘Two and a Half Men’ before he was dramatically fired in March, was guest of honour at the Comedy Central Roast which saw William Shatner, Steve-O, Jeffery Ross, Mike Tyson and Kate Walsh taking hilarious pot shots.

Ushered onto stage with a soundtrack courtesy of Gunners rocker Slash, a toothless, smiling Charlie took the feeding frenzy in good grace as the comedians ripped him a new one on everything from his ‘Tiger Blood’ rants to the Goddesses, his ex-wives and his flailing career.

Roast master Seth McFarlane kicked off proceedings by ripping into his recent firing from the sitcom.

"How do you get fired from ‘Two and a Half Men’?" the ‘Family Guy’ star joked. "Do they haul you in and say, 'Sorry, you don't suck enough'?"

Taking first jabs was comedian Jeffrey Ross, who was dressed as former Libyan dictator Moammar Gaddafi.

"This is hard. How do you roast a meltdown?"

"Charlie's meltdown was so bad, Al Gore's making a documentary about it," Ross joked, telling Sheen that "the only time your kids get to see you is in reruns."

"How much blow can Charlie Sheen do?" asked Jon Lovitz, "Enough to kill 'Two and a Half Men."'

Of course, Sheen had the last word, and gave as good as he got. "It's true I've hung around a lot of shady characters," Sheen said when he took to the microphone, "but to have you all here on one night is really special."

"I'm done with the winning, because I've already won. This roast may be over, but I'm Charlie Sheen and in here burns an eternal fire," he said. "I just have to remember to keep it away from a crack pipe."

Touche, Charlie.
