Comedy Central shows have collected seven of the coveted golden ladies at The Emmys, with ‘The Colbert Report’, ‘The Daily Show’ and ‘Saturday Night Live’ receiving honours at both the Creative Arts Emmys and The Primetime Emmys!. This is the eighth consecutive win for 'The Daily Show With Jon Stewart' making it the longest consecutive streak in Emmy history. Emmy-Winner hit "The Colbert Report" scores second win For Writing.

The Emmy Awards were presented in two ceremonies. The first, primarily for creative arts categories, took place on Saturday, August 21, while the balance of the Emmys, for the performing arts, were announced before a black-tie audience on Sunday, August 29.
