THE JEFF DUNHAM SHOW

As a lonely 8 year old Jeff Dunham started studying ventriloquism as a way to fill his spare time. As a 45 year old slate.com called him America’s Greatest Comic, Pollster magazine named him as the top-grossing standup act in North America last year and he has appeared numerous times on the likes of The Tonight Show and Letterman.  More importantly, when his self titled show debuted on Comedy Central US in October 2009 it pulled in 5.3 million viewers and became THE most watched series premiere EVER in Comedy Central history! With a cast of politically incorrect characters that include Walter -  a Vietnam Vet with anger issues, Bubba J the red neck, Melvin the Superhero Guy, a pimp called Sweet Daddy Dee and Achmed the Dead Terrorist; Dunham’s co stars are guaranteed to have you in stitches even when you know you really shouldn’t be laughing!

LEWIS BLACK: BACK ON BROADWAY

Cantankerous comedian/author/playwright and actor Lewis Black is scorchingly funny in this his first HBO stand up special. Known for his angry man stream of consciousness comedy, it’s not hard to see that George Carlin has been a huge influence on Black. Awarded the title of Best Male Stand Up nearly a decade ago from The American Comedy Awards, Black is still going strong. Particularly impressive when you hear that he refuses to write jokes down preferring just to pick the topic and start talking. Tackling topics like homeland security, sexual politics, international travel, tax cuts, Martha Stewart and US politics – Black is afraid of NOTHING. Black on Broadway is must see stand-up.

LARRY DAVID: CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM
• PREMIERES TUESDAY 23RD  FEBRUARY @ 8.30PM
Forever famous as the man who created Seinfeld, Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm is the show that launched the series. A show within a show, Curb Your Enthusiasm is a mockumentary HBO comedy special all about the making of an HBO comedy special! It starts with Larry David, legendary Seinfeld creator being approached by to do a one off special. Agreeing but deciding he needs to polish his stand up, David hits the comedy clubs for the first time in years only to find that his nerves aren’t quite as robust as they used to be. With a cast that includes Jerry Seinfeld, Jason Alexander & Richard Lewis, THIS is what all the fuss is about.
